Petra Braun is a freelance illustrator based in Austria. She has a particular love for details and handmade textures as well as vivid and balanced color combinations. She specializes in digital illustration and emphasizes women empowerment and love of nature with a modern, feminine, bright and playful style. She is highly inspired by strong women, the female body, animals and plants and likes to evoke feelings, a special mood and atmosphere as well as an uplifting message.

Her obsession with drawing and creating stuff dates back to her school days, when she would draw all over her schoolbooks (which was much more enjoyable than doing homework).

She is also a qualified Graphic Designer, holds a degree in Fine Arts/Painting and Graphics and has a passion for stories, biographies and mythologies.
