Sydney, 7 April 2025 – Rockpool Publishing is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jude McGee as its new Publisher. With more than 30 years of experience in the book publishing industry, Jude brings a wealth of expertise and an impressive track record in commissioning, editing, and managing high-profile titles across various genres.
Jude has held senior roles at leading publishing houses, including ABC Books (HarperCollins), Allen & Unwin, Bantam (Random House), and Transworld Publishers. Throughout her career, she has successfully acquired and championed bestselling books in memoir, biography, history, sport and lifestyle.. Her experience spans from working closely with authors, agents and designers to leading teams and driving projects to success.
Beyond publishing, Jude is a passionate advocate for authors and storytelling. She has also worked as a writer, editor, ghostwriter, and university lecturer, helping shape the careers of emerging talents in the industry. Her extensive knowledge of book rights, licensing agreements, and international distribution makes her a valuable addition to Rockpool Publishing’s leadership team.
